Title: Level 1 Listening
Prerequisites: Placement in ESL 0211 through the department
Description: This course develops foundational English listening comprehension for beginning ESL students. Students learn to comprehend English letter sounds, numbers, time expressions, short spoken exchanges, and simple oral directions common in classroom and campus situations. Students will develop vocabulary knowledge in CEFR A1 and A2 levels. This course is cross-listed with CED 0211 (Level 1 Listening – Continuing Education).
