Title: Level 2 Reading

Prerequisites: Placement in ESL 0441 through the department

Description: This course strengthens English language learners’ reading skills for academic and everyday purposes. Students expand their reading fluency and accuracy through practice with longer and more complex texts. Emphasis is placed on improving comprehension, recognizing text organization, and using context to understand new vocabulary. Students will develop vocabulary knowledge at the CEFR A2 and B1 levels. This course is cross-listed with CED 0441 (Level 2 Reading – Continuing Education).
