Snow College Students have the opportunity to get credit for participating in approved work and internships both on and off campus. The application process is dependent on the position one is seeking. Students who are accepted into the internship program will be enrolled in a Canvas Course and be expected to complete several assignments throughout the semester.
Students wishing to complete an internship with the Snow College Sports Medicine Department must turn the following information in to Spencer Mack.
Snow College Sports Medicine carries a maximum of 12 students. The number of students hired will depend on the number of returning students from the previous semester.
Students who are employed by or volunteer with local Physical Therapy clinics as aids may receive internship credit for their experience. These students must be able to provide proof of employment and have their direct supervisor sign an agreement that they will be a preceptor for the student. Once documentation has been received the student will meet with Spencer Mack for final approval and enrollment in the internship.
Students who are employed or volunteer as coaches either on campus or locally with a high school or local gym may receive internship credit for their experience.
