The grounds crew is responsible for all work on the campus grounds. This includes mowing and watering the lawns, taking care of the flower, rock, and shrub beds, prepping the sports field, tree maintenance, sidewalk and parking lot maintenance and snow removal. We are also responsible for running the college recycling and surplus programs. The fire system also falls under our many hats, which includes the testing, maintenance and repair of the fire sprinkler and fire detection systems. The ground crew is all CDL certified and is in charge of picking up all the garbage on campus. We are also bus certified and drive for the weekly bus service for students to Walmart. Come ride with us on Thursday afternoons!
