Appointed Positions - Student Body Officer

What do SBO's do?

Student Body Officers are members and representatitves of the Snow College Student Association (SCSA). SBO's are responsible for creating an inviting, engaging, and helpful atmosphere across Snow College's campus. We are in charge of many campus wide events, but also do a lot of the background work to make sure that Snow's students are being represented and supported. Our efforts are a big part of what makes Snow, feel like Snow. In addition to joining a great and supportive team, SBO's are given additional leadership training, networking opportunities and experience that leads to many great opportunities after Snow.

Appointed Positions (no election required)

(May be at least 17 years of age to apply for an appointed position)

Executive Assistant

This position is the only appointed member of the Executive Council. The Executive Assistant:

  • Assists the other members of the Executive Council accomplish their responsibilities.
  • Organizes team recognition and celebrations.
  • Takes minutes of meetings and councils.
  • Communicates updates with SBO team.
Programming Board
  • Act as professional representatives of Snow College at all times.
  • Plan and execute weekly Student Life events.
  • Work as a team to lead and serve the student body of Snow College.
  • Collaborate with campus organizations to ensure a diverse range of activities.
Marketing Board

In tandem with the programming board, Marketing SBO's will also:

  • Oversee and manage marketing design for Student Life activities.
    • (photo editing and graphic design preferred)
  • Manage Social media and other mediums of marketing communication.
  • Create and manage promotional campaignes for events.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Marketing & Communications.

Clubs Board

In tandem with the programming board, Clubs Board SBO's will also:

  • Assists the Vice President of Clubs.
  • Aids student clubs in club development and improvement.
  • Attends a variety of club meetings/events.
  • Helps to improve and promote belonging efforts across campus.
