General Education is a specialty of Snow College. Our Associate of Science degree
gives you the opportunity to take a wide range of classes taught by experienced faculty.
Whether you take your classes in-person or online, we offer the same personalized,
supportive, and enriching educational experience.
At Snow College, we don’t believe that general education courses are something to
just get out of the way. We design GE classes that allow you to develop your ability
to analyze, communicate, problem solve, and collaborate: real-world skills that will
help you both on the job and in your everyday life. Our degree (and individual courses)
transfer seamlessly to most universities, making Snow College your best value in general
education.
A minimum of 60 total credits are needed to graduate. In addition to your general
education courses, you will need approximately 26 credits in elective courses. It
is recommended that you use those elective credits to fulfill prerequisites for your
major classes. Consult your advisor to determine which courses are best for you.
