The presidential search committee will be chaired by Snow College Board of Trustees Chair Leslie Keisel. It is comprised of representatives from the Utah Board of Higher Education, trustees, and institutional stakeholders including faculty, staff, students, administration, alumni, and community members.

Appointed to the Snow College Board of Trustees in 2013. Mrs. Keisel spent her career as an educator in the North Sanpete School District where she started her career teaching elementary school. She served as a principal at the elementary and middle school levels and retired her career after serving as the District Superintendent. She has served on the Sanpete Valley Hospital Board and city and county Planning Commissions. Her retirement years have given her more time to spend enjoying retirement years with her husband, devote more time to grandchildren, making quilts for humanitarian projects, and serving in her church callings.
Vice Chair
Appointed to the Snow College Board of Trustees in 2015. Mr. Robinson is a graduate of North Sevier High School and Brigham Young University (Business Management/Finance). He served a mission for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Mission to the Louisiana/Baton Rouge Mission and has spent his career with Zions Bank in September of 1983. He worked as the Branch Manager in Manti, Utah, and is currently the Branch Manager/Vice President in Richfield, Utah. All five of his children have taken classes at Snow College. He is involved with community, church service, and the Republican State Central Committee.
Vice Chair of the Board of Education
Appointed July 2013. She previously served as Chair of the Salt Lake Community College Board of Trustees and a member of the Westminster College Board of Trustees. She is active in community affairs and currently serves on the governing boards of the University of Utah’s National Advisory Council, Success in Education Foundation, and I.J. Wagner Foundation. She is employed by Barlow Corporation. Ms. Anderson received a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Utah. She and her husband, Scott, are the parents of three children and six grandchildren.
Shawn is the retired Vice President of Business Development at Industrial Supply Company where he worked for 37 years. He serves as a community integrator working as the vice president of the Salt Lake Branch of the NAACP, a former Commissioner on the Governor’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Human Rights Commission and is co-chair of the Utah Black Round Table. Mr. Newell formerly served on the Boards of the Utah Non-Profit Association, the Utah Manufacturer’s Association Board, as Chair of the Workforce and Economic Development Advisory Board at Salt Lake Community College where he served as the Alumni Council President and a Trustee for the College and is a former member of the Utah State Board of Education. Shawn is a Civility Ambassador for World Civility through iChange Nations.
